Holiday Turkey Crouton Hot Dish

Wondering what to do with your leftover turkey? Here's an easy layered dish that uses canned soup and croutons.
 

Ingredients

  • 3/4 cup melted butter
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 1/2 cup chopped celery
  • 4 cups seasoned croutons
  • 4 cups cubed leftover cooked turkey or chicken
  • 1 can [10 3/4 oz.] condensed cream of celery soup
  • 1 can [10 3/4 oz.] condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 1 cup milk

Method

Melt butter in a large skillet. Cook and stir celery and onion in butter until tender. Add croutons and toss to coat. Put half of the crouton mixture in an 11x7-inch baking pan. Add turkey, then remaining croutons. Heat the soups and milk together in a saucepan. Pour this mixture over the layers. Bake in 325 degree oven for 45 minutes or until heated through.
