Pasta Beans and Peas

This side dish is low fat, wheat free and complete protien.
 

Ingredients

  • 1 pound rice or corn pasta
  • 1 can red kidney beans
  • 1 small package frozen peas
  • 1/4 cup Parmesean cheese
  • Olive oil, salt, pepper to taste

Method

Cook noodles to package directions. When pasta is done, pour into a collander and cover with a lid. Using same pan used to cook pasta, add olive oil, kidney beans and frozen peas. Cook about 5 minutes until peas are warmed through. Place pasta back into pot, toss with a little more olive oil, and serve on warm plates. Top with Parmesean cheese, salt and pepper to taste.
