Method
Brown meat, 2-3 pieces, at a time in an 8 inch oven proof skillet. While meat is browning, make gravy mix according to package directions. Add tomato sauce and brown sugar to gravy mix, stirring well. Stir 4 tbsp gravy mix into juice in skillet and place 2-3 pieces of steak on top. Lightly salt meat and sprinkle half of the onions on the first layer. Pour half of gravy mix on top of first layer and then repeat with top layer. Cover skillet and bake, at 250 degrees, for 2 hours, or until meat is tender.
Notes: This recipe is great over noodles or with mashed potatoes.
